About us
We are a high energy, very loving family! We have three dogs and a cat (all trained and VERY loving). We love to travel and go on outdoor adventures. Some things we do regularly as a family include but are not limited to: church, fishing, sporting events, kayaking, camping, beach going, and attending family gatherings.
Chris
Chris teaches high school math. He is known as a caring and compassionate teacher whom his students look up to. Many of them see him as their father figure, others see him as their confidant when they feel they have no one else to talk to. He is a loving and patient father. He is always there to give you the boost of confidence you need and the encouragement to keep trying. He puts the needs of his family first and ensures that they are always taken care of. He is silly and a jokester. He believes that life is too short to be serious and makes it a point to laugh every day. In 2018, Chris was diagnosed with stage three papillary thyroid cancer. After surgeries, biopsies, and radiation treatments, he finds himself starting year two in remission! Chris enjoys, hunting, fishing, family gatherings, and playing with Luke.
Luke
Luke is the sweetest little boy with a heart of gold. He prays for everyone he meets and finds the positive in absolutely everything. It is because of him that we are able to see God's work in all bad situations. As loving and caring as he is, Luke is still a boy and has a tremendous adventurous side to him. He loves to play pranks and jokes on those he loves and has the silliest sense of humor. His laugh is so contagious that it makes you forget every problem in the world. He has a hunger to learn and remembers just about everything you teach him. His hobbies include paranormal investigating, playing with his legos, playing video games, and playing with the dogs.
Michelle
Michelle is a high school science teacher. She has a huge love for the ocean and the life within it. She is described by her students as someone who motivates and inspires them to do things they never thought they could. She is silly and adventurous. She believes in holding on to your inner child and letting her loose at all moments of life. She looks to God for all decisions in her life and leans on him when she does not understand. She loves to eat and never turns down homemade anything. Michelle enjoys, being in or near the water, repurposing/restoring old furniture, arts and crafts, antiquing, and yard sale shopping.
